Chemistry is the branch of science that focuses on matter, the changes that matter undergoes, and the relationship between matter and energy.  It is a rigorous course that requires the use of mathematics, language, and philosophy.  Chemistry can be used to explain much of our world through the use of applied physics.

In AP Chemistry we will work through the equivalent of a college level general chemistry course.  This class is intended for the most serious, interested, and prepared chemistry students.
